About Me:
My wife, Jamie, and I have been married since 2010 and gained a couple of people that look and act too much like us along the way. We welcomed our son, Barrett, in 2013 and daughter, Wren, in 2016.
When I find time, I love to be outdoors, hiking, fishing, watching a ball game or just getting some “quiet time” on the mower. I’m an avid sports fan and enjoy watching my Hawkeyes and Chiefs along with the misery of following my Minnesota Twins. My favorite thing to do is to put a smile on somebody’s face, life’s too short to be unhappy.

We’ve had the opportunity to support our community and surrounding communities since 1999 with giveaways, donations, service and sponsorships for all sorts of organizations. Our owner, Dane Housken, is also known to coach youth sports!

We’ve been part of 5 communities in our journey with Brown’s and have built quite the life around it along the way. We love our community here in Carroll and everything it has to offer. What we love most is the people, we were welcomed with open arms and have been able to find a nice spot right here in Carroll.
Our kids are the happy, busy little bees that keep us on our toes and all over town at all times. I love coaching whatever sport is in season, catching any recital or concert they are in and just soaking up the limited time we’ll have with our kids.
