About Me:
I grew up in a shoe store, literally. My Dad owned a Brown’s Shoe Fit in Charles City, Iowa, and I started shortly after high school. I’ve been with Brown’s Shoe Fit for 36 years. I have a passion for this business and get the most satisfaction out of bringing other people into this business.
I opened Fort Dodge in 1996. My wife, Raquel, and I raised our son Cole and daughter Carson here. We have two grandkids, Baylor and Charlie.

In 2014, we kicked off our favorite event, 3rd Thursday Fit Night! Fit Night is held the 3rd Thursday of every month April through October. This is a family event intended to promote fitness for all ages through running, jogging, and walking. We provide a great environment, a great course, food, and drinks. Prizes are given away to participants like free shoes, socks, meals, health consultations, massages, and much more. Participants can walk, jog, or run any distance they want.
