I’ve been an owner/operator with Brown’s Shoe Fit for 20 years. At work, I am passionate about providing the best service for our customers. At home, I am a devoted father and husband. I met my wife Meiqing while teaching English in China in 1998. We have been married for 22 years. We have three teenage (triplet) daughters who attend Ankeny Centennial High School.

We love to travel as a family all over the world and immerse ourselves in different cultures. One of our favorite activities is family movie night where we each take turns choosing a movie to watch together (popcorn required!) and discuss after. We also have a library of over 1000 books scattered throughout our house!

Some of my favorite things include trying new foods (especially international cuisine), traveling, music, film, literature, history, and running. I’m also a sports fan and enjoy rooting for Arsenal, the Green Bay Packers, the Buffalo Sabres, and the University of Wisconsin.
