My name is Rob Whitham, and I am the new owner/ manager at Brown’s Shoe Fit Freeport.
Brown’s Shoe Fit Co. has been a big part of my family history as my grandfather and father were also Brown’s managers. I sold my first pair of shoes working at my Dad’s store in Washington, lA while in high school. After graduating from college in 2004, l began my full-time career and helped my Dad open a new store in Pella, IA. Since then, I have managed stores in Carroll, IA, Grinnell, IA, and most recently worked at our corporate office where I purchased product for our warehouse and offered support to all of our stores.
